Hamilton McBrides Helmshore

Went with PK to the former "Hamilton McBrides" Bedding Manufacturers in Helmshore Lancashire.
This Building was also used by the holiday firm "Airtours" (for a short while).
The building was also a research centre for a company called "Platt Saco Lowell" during its earlier years
Some of Airtours left, and moved offices to Rochdale,
Although they do still have a block across the road from here in use.

I remember going here for a job interview just after leaving school when it made bedding.

i wanted to get in as i heard rumours that it might be turned into an Elderley residential home soon.

(i bet that's exactly how it stays too.. just a rumour).
